How long did The Last 5 Years run?

Was it a limited run? How long did it stay off-broadway? And I also understand that Sherie Rene Scott didn't do the out of town tryouts? Was she a replacement of the other girl out of town?

Wasn't it Lauren Kennedy who did the out of town tryout with Norbert in Chicago?

Lauren Kennedy played Kathleen in Skokie but could not do the NY run because she was already committed to Trevor Nunn's SOUTH PACIFIC in London.

As the AMAZING Sherie Rene Scott once said "Just as it was gathering audiences, it closed"
I wish it had run for "The Last Five Years! (pun intended.)
I guess it was either of the two.
I guess that's what happens to a lot of off-broadway, except for FB.

I didn't see it live. I saw a completly legal DVD *cough*

It was awesome! It's one of my new favorite shows!

When I saw it, the theatre was so empty they closed the balcony and reseated everyone in the orchestra.

Legal problems forced it from the Lincoln Center to Off Broadway. Then it struggled to get an audience and just as it started to come around, it closed. A real shame.
