I heard he was excellent in this play, I wanted to meet him at the Flea Market in September, but didn't get to because I think he had a show that afternoon.
My friend and I are playing to do Student Rush on Dec. 2nd for Tarzan. My friends have seen it a couple of months back and said he was very good playing this part.
Just wondering if anyone knows how long he is in the play for? Thanks.
Not sure how long he is in Tarzan, but I know at Broadway Bares he had nothing to be ashamed of.
Sorry, somebody had to say it.

I say about a year or two. Although the cast is great the show is so so.
Yeah, I just saw the show for the first time. I thought the cast was fantastic, especially Merle. I know that Josh extended his contract until next year, so maybe through February. Not positive, though.
Nicholas Rodriguez is taking over on November 11, 2006.

Nicholas will not be Tarzan. he will be the Tarzan understudy, replacing Kevin Massey.

Kevin Massey is leaving?
Also, who goes on more for Tarzan: Josh or Kevin?

Josh STRICKLAND has missed very few perfomances. He was out over the weekend though. Kevin Massey has been the first understudy and Josh Kobak has the second understudy (Kobak was on for the Saturday matinee I know)
When I went to the show on Friday night, my student rush seat was in the back of the orch. and sitting across the way was a guy who said he was to be in the show soon and was watching it. So I guess that must have been Nicholas, I was wondering about who he could be going into the show for so its good to know now.
hopefully until i'm able to see the show...haha...never will be able to!
i hate this distance between me...and New York!

I think he'll be in for the run of the show. I don't see producers running after him for their next big thing- i honestly don't. He should enjoy his leading man status while he has it as I'm sure this will be his last. This was a just a case of Right place, right time, right part: Kismet.

Josh is actually a very good actor... i wouldn't count him out at all.

Yeah, with his looks and voice, I bet Josh's Bway career has just begun.

I saw him at Broadway Bares, I was not that impressed.
I haven't seen him live yet, but I am very excited too. As many bad reviews I've read about the show, not many actually have anything negative to say about him. I love his voice, and of course, he is very attractive. I can deifnitely see him sticking around for a while. I don't think he will originate a roll imediately after this, but I can see him filling some of the roles currently out there. He should put his "dues" in. I hope he sticks around!
