Um, I just realized Kristin would be divine as the Witch.

Well this is an interesting story.
I was the witch for one scene and the voice of the giant's wife in my university production.
My sister was actually cast in the role of the witch, I never went for that role but the directors could not figure out a way for her to do the quick change from ugly witch to beautiful witch. As my sister and I looked very similar, the directors thought I could dress up as my sister for the scene where they feed the magic ingredients to the cow and then I stumble off stage when choking on the milk and then my sister appears 2 secs later mid stage in all her glory. No one could guess how it was done as I was mouthing her lines but she was offstage still mic'd up saying the lines,so it worked a treat as all people could see was what they thought was her and heard her voice. I did however on the final show come onstage dressed as the witch so that people could finally see how it was done.

in our show, we had our witch put on her pretty sparkly dress underneath her big cape and she just covered it up during the scene before. then when she turned beautiful she kind of had a spasm then threw the cape off.
but maybe you didnt have a cape or something?

It was a far cry from home, but this production of Into the Woods (If you look around) was excellent.

We nearly did Into the Woods my senior year of high school. But we didn't. Boo.
I probably would have been the Baker. I would have loved to be the Baker.
For now, I'm still waiting to be in a production of ITW.
