#4How many shows have you seen on Broadway?
Posted: 6/7/13 at 10:11pmMy tally currently stands at 298 total performances. It would take too long to type it out, but the biggest repeat viewings have been AMERICAN IDIOT (25X) and JERUSALEM (7X).

I just hit my 173rd show yesterday! 98 different shows total, the rest are repeats. Moved here in 2010 so I'm not doing bad!

Posted: 6/7/13 at 11:20pmI just think bragging threads like this are a little silly. Somebody is always going to beat somebody with show tallies. I know one person who has seen WICKED over 200x.

Threads like this remind me why I deleted my account back in 2011. There is an unrelenting elitism that goes along with theatre-going these days. Who cares how many shows you've seen on Broadway? Why are you trying to one-up others who may not have the same access to the city or the same excess funds to dedicate to theatre-going that you have? Instead of posting in this forum trying to impress? conquer? one-up? the other members here, why don't you take some time think about how LUCKY you are to have had all of those incredible experiences in the audiences of Broadway companies.
I am grateful to have seen many, many shows on Broadway at such a young age, but tallying the numbers and the playbills seems fruitless and silly. There are tremendous memories and sentiments attached to the theatre and it makes me sad that a curtain call is just another tally for some.

Why are you resulting to name calling? You come across as very immature.
why don't you take some time think about how LUCKY you are to have had all of those incredible experiences in the audiences of Broadway companies.
This is such an amazing point. Sometimes it's just nice to reflect on all of the wonderful experiences and memories you have had seeing Broadway shows. Bragging about totals means nothing.
