re: How many times...?

I saw Rent 7, but two times were for free because I was working for Students, Live...I'm not even sure if Rent's really my favorite show...

I think my two favorites currently on Broadway now are Millie and Aida. I saw Millie twice (once for free!) and Aida 4 times. I try not to see a show I LOVE more than once because then I want to see it every day :) I definitely need to see Millie once more before Sutton leaves, and although it will be hard for me to see another Radames besides Adam, my mom is dying to see Toni Braxton, so I might see Aida once more as well.

I saw Les Miserables 4 times, and it is my favorite show...
I had a dream... I dreamed it for you June... It wasn't for me Herbie... And if it wasn't for me, then where would you be, Miss. Gypsy Rose Lee?

Phantom 4 times in their theater and at least 8-10 though the walls when we were doing "Fiddler On The Roof" in the theater next store.

"Le Miz" twice. Will see it again when it comes spring of next year.

re: re: re: How many times...?

My favorite show on Broadway right now has gotta be Thoroughly Modern Millie. I've seen it 7 times, but I will be seeing it at least 2 more times. Les Miz is my other favortie show, though I only saw it 3 times.

Jekyll & Hyde: 2 times in New York, once on tour, once at a community production and countless times on video, fastforwarding through any part where Hassel-oaf has to do any serious singing.

i've seen millie 11 times and have plans to see it two more times...and i've seen urinetown 6 times....
i also saw the last five years 10 times when it was playing, and i probably would've seen it 10 more if it played longer..

re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: How many times...?

I'm going to preface this by saying that I first started seeing RENT in '97, so this is over a 7 year period and 4 different companies....but I lost count at 65. Sounds bad, I know -- but that's roughly 8 or 9 times a year which isn't bad considering it used to come to my city for weeks to a month at a time......and with rush it's too inviting.

I think tick, tick...BOOM! is second with 18, and then I don't think another show even comes close to those numbers...so I'm really not some lunatic that never leaves the theater...

re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: How many times...?

jesus christ i dont know WHY i am doing this but...here goes

RENT (starting with the OBC) - last august 112 times
YAGMCB 19 times
Saturday Night Fever 76 times including the national tours/london
Mamma Mia 92 times and not counting anymore
Hairspray 250 + times because of work
Epic Proportions 11 times
Urban Cowboy 14 times (including 1 free time from chase mishkin because she felt bad that i was the only psycho that paid to see it that much)
Love Janis close to 500 times because i worked there
and every other show 1-3 times

I think im officially over my "groupie" stage though... i enjoyed all the memories and friends ive made but, it's time for me to focus on my own career if i plan to get somewhere other than a stagedoor.

re: How many times...?

Yeah, I've mentioned it before, but what the hell...
Cabaret, 36 times and counting. I'll probably break 40...my lucky number is 48, but I Really don't think that'll be happening. Been doing it since Oct 2000. Though my second time wasn't till May 01, and that's when I started continually going. Otherwise, I don't go to other shows like that. The most besides that...Chicago- 5 times, Design for Living- 5 times, The Producers- 4 times. Other than those, I've gone to a couple others more than once.

re: re: How many times...?

I've seen Gypsy 8 or 9 times so far, I know I'll see it more; but that's the most I've seen any show.
