I saw Dear Evan Hansen at 2econd Stage. Did the show change very much when it came to Broadway? I don't see myself going back to see it on Broadway, especially with these prices. I am still curious to know if I am missing anything significant since the transfer.

Not a ton. It changed more from DC to Second Stage. The main change for me happened during the run at Second Stage. It's a spoiler for anyone who hasn't seen the show so just in case...
From the beginning of the Second Stage run to the end, they changed dialogue to make it completely clear that Evan was attempting suicide when he "fell" from the tree. At first, it was more up for interpretation

It changed more from DC to NY than Second Stage to Broadway. The first thing being that it wasn't clear that Evan was trying to let go from the tree. At all. Also in DC the opening number was a song called This Will Be the Year, not Anybody Have a Map and the closing of the first act wasn't You Will Be Found. It was a song called Part of Me.

I'm sure there were many little changes, but I saw it at Second Stage and then again on Broadway... and without looking at a script or score couldn't point out anything different, other than it being a bigger set. And that the performances have only gotten better.

Anybody Have A Map was the same melodically, but with very different lyrics. Same story/feel, but a ton of different lyrics.
