The sincerity and heart of the show are still there. The show will most likely become very popular regionally, in colleges and high schools. What ever happens, it's had a wonderful run and superceded above and beyond all expectations from its "C-R-E-P-U-S-C-U-L-E" beginnings.
AVENUE Q played to 93% capacity this past week. It isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

i have seen the original cast twice and thought that they were excellent. However, the second time I saw the show i felt that some of the cast was phoning in their performances. Its a very funny show however the cast was just okay.
fortunately, this tuesday, i made a return visit to the circle in the square and let me tell you this new cast is incredibly fresh and fantastic. they each bring unique takes to each of the roles while being extremely funny. on a side note the theater was definitely at 90% + capacity.
Spelling bee will definitel continue its healthy run for i say at least another six months.
