re: How was the final Wedding Singer

Ashley Amber is going to be in "Curtains" so she isn't going very far.

Heh, that's pretty funny.

That's really sad to hear that Richard doesn't dance in LB. He's a great dancer.

re: How was the final Wedding Singer

Did Richard come back just to do the final performance? How do he do LB rehearsals and TWS at the same time?

Yankee- When did it become 'popular'? I remember it being popular from the second it came out.

re: How was the final Wedding Singer

To add to the list of where cast members are going:
Robin is joining Chicago and Tina was supposed to join Martin Short (damn them for closing next week.)
Whatever happened to class?

re: How was the final Wedding Singer

Aww, Tina. re: How was the final Wedding Singer

When does Robyn join Chicago?

neddy - it took a while for the show to REALLY catch on (to the extent that it did). When it was first in previews and opened, you could walk up the box office 5 minutes before curtain and score a student ticket. Box office student rush lines didn't start forming until early summer, at least.

re: How was the final Wedding Singer

i remember going even in novemeber and there being only 6 of us there for the wed mat, and i showed up to the box office around noon and got 101 for the evening show.

What was Tina supposed to do in Fame Becomes Me? Who would she have replaced?

re: How was the final Wedding Singer

Mary Birdsong, I think.

re: How was the final Wedding Singer

Wow - I can see that. And it would have been great.

But they were all SO perfect in that show. It was easily one of the funniest things on Broadway this season.

But enough threadjacking.

I thought Ana Gasteyer was taking over for Ms. Birdsong. Interesting. . .

re: How was the final Wedding Singer

Spencer is one of the nicest people ever, honestly.

I wish I had gotten to go.
This and All Shook Up's final show, I'd have killed to go to.

re: How was the final Wedding Singer

I would have loved to have seen the final performance.

I saw the show for the first time on Saturday, at 2:00, and loved it.

re: How was the final Wedding Singer

To answer a previous question, Robyn Hurder is listed on Playbill Online as playing Mona in Chicago, although the posted bio doesn't mention Wedding Singer, Spamalot, or Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. So does that mean David Eggers played two tracks for a couple weeks- his and Spencer's? Or did Michael McGurk go on for David's track?
Dean: Can I tell you something? Lorraine: That depends on what it is. Dean: I think you're really really pretty. Lorraine: (after a pause) Ok, you can tell me that.
