Hugh Panaro as Phantom of the Opera#0
Posted: 3/29/05 at 3:43pmWould anyone happen to know if Hugh Panaro has any days off or does he perform every day? I don't want to buy these tickets and make a trip from Viginia and then miss out on seeing him in POTO. Don't know where I can get this info from. Thanks for any help.

He is an awesome phanotm. He wouldn't know he's out until the day of - or until he has a vacation.
Better ask this webmaster who posts here

Posted: 3/29/05 at 3:51pmDon't know anything about his days off, but he's the best Phantom ever. He made my mom cry with the last notes, and I thoroughly loved watching him absolutely lose it in the last scene. Brilliant.

Posted: 3/29/05 at 4:39pmHe performs every day unless he's sick or something, which you won't know until the day of. Christine changes depending on the day, though.

Yeah, Hugh is scheduled for all eight shows a week.
Christine Daaé is the only lead character who has two actors, Sandra Joseph and Julie Hanson. Julie plays the role on Wednesday evenings and Thursday evenings.

Posted: 3/29/05 at 5:37pmthere's a really small chance you won't see him in POTO so don't even fret about it. the show will be excellent!

Are you guys talking about little me? LOL! Last time I spoke with Hugh he said that he doesn't have any extended vacations in the near future. Of course there may be days that he won't perform because he's sick or whatnot, but that's pretty unpredicatable. Other than that, Hugh does perform all 8 performances a week. Hugh's current POTO contract runs until July.
Hope you get to see him!

i finally broke down after 15 years and saw Hugh last month. Bad show (i didn't care about any of the characters), and it confirmed that ALW's music gives me a migrane. However, Hugh is a wonderful actor and singer.

Julie's schedule has been pretty random lately. I think it's because Sandra had been on vacation. But if you want to know Julie's performance dates, you should go to her website:

Hope that helps! :)

I thought I would bump this thread then start a brand new one. So does anyone know if Hugh is going to return as the Phantom when his contract is up in July? I have seen him twice already, and am taking alot of family members to see him as the Phantom in August. It will be to bad if he is not there anymore. I know John Cudia just left as Raoul not long ago. Does anyone else know?

As of today, Hugh says that he know the Lestat rumor is on the internet, but for now, don't believe it. He tells me he honestly doen't know what will happen. So don't jump the gun yet, you guys! We shall wait and see until everything is finalized. :)
