Last year I started a thread about what would have won a Best Song Tony award in years past. (See below for link.)
With the announcement of this year's Tony nominees, it's time to add this category. If there had been a Best Song category this season, which four songs would have been nominated? (Not your personal preferences, but your hypothetical predictions.)

With either of the first two winning, rightfully so (in my opinion).

I agree, BBL would win.
This really should be a category.

My Choices For This Year:
Around The World - Grey Gardens
Omigod You Guys - Legally Blonde
She Goes - High Fidelity
Totally F**ked - Spring Awakening
The sad part is, I find more songs on High Fidelity motr memorable than on any of the other shows that have come out this year. Oh well -

I wish we had this category, a great theater song is a lot different from a great score. Get rid of the orchestrations category if need be, no one (not even the orchestrators) cares about that.
"Another WInter In A Summer Town" (Our Winner!)
"Glass Half Full" (Martin Short's closing solo from Fame Becomes Me)
"I'll Be There" (Yes, from Pirate Queen. It's a good song.)
"The Bitch of Living"

The Bitch of Living - Spring Awakening
Revolutionary Costume for Today - Grey Gardens
Masters of War - The Times They Are A-Changin'
The Rain Song - 110 in the Shade
And if Alexander Borodin could win in 1954 for Kismet, why not a posthumous nom for George Frideric Handel in Coram Boy?

Bitch of Living more so than anything else from Spring Awakening.
And am I the only one who hates Omigod You Guys but loves Better than Before?
