Um......I don't think Nikki schooled ANYONE in ANYTHING but it's such a ridiculous statement I refuse to argue about it further.

I think this is really exciting. I find the whole idea very appealing. I do find the lack of diversity a little alarming, but have a feeling it will find it's way. To be honest, the whole West End scene isn't that diverse in the first place.
Have there been rumors of Kylie actually playing Maureen? I'm not a huge Kylie fan, but seems kind of inevitable, doesn't it?

I tend to despise Anne Hathaway on film, but I actually think she'd be a really good choice. They could go divers and use someone like Nikki James!!!

Personally, I think the movie lacks spunk, energy and spark. Nikki Blonsky bores me. Travolta embarrases himself and the direction was completely uninspired.
I did however like Queen latifah, Zac Efron, Amanda Bynes and Christopher Walken. Oh, and Elijah Kelly is fantastic as Seaweed.

I think Sarah being there would be a huge draw. She has an immense international appeal.
Why she WOULDN'T do the show is beyond me. The only reason I could think of is her and Webbers personal relationship, but she was at his Kennedy Center Honors, so it can't be THAT bad.
And like her or not, she IS Christine. That role was built for her and every Christine since her has ben directed to evoke her.

I really love the idea of this show. I think it's exciting! The series was genius, the characters always felt musical anyway. This ecites me, and Lippa is PERFECT for it. (outside of Shaiman of course)

Alice and Emily performed for Side Show months after it had closed. It happens quite a bit actually, depends on the star power and the value it adds to the broadcast. Most things that have a big appeal this year are still running, so there probably won't be any closed shows performing this year.

I just have to illuminate this to all of the haters who freaked out on me when I mentioned he would likely be nominated for the Tony. I know these nom's are not always the same, but he is getting the recognition he deserves.
