Just spoke with the guy at the box office. I was planning to go on May 29. He said the show is closing on May 21.
Any suggestions of what else I can see on a monday night?

That is so sad
I know Stephanie really enjoyed it.
Wow this is sad. I loved this show!

NOOOOOO. That completely ruins my day. And though I was assured of a cast recording when I went in March, the lack of any furthur updates and the early closing date worry the crap out of me.
Oh well, here's hoping Colin Hanlon and Farah Alvin go on to bigger and better things.
Other options for May 29th:
Broadway:
Chicago - 8:00 PM
Lestat - 8:00 PM
Rent - 8:00 PM
The Phantom of the Opera - 8:00 PM
Off-Broadway:
Fools in Love - 7:30 PM
Forbidden Broadway: Special Victims Unit - 8:15 PM
I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change! - 7:00 PM
Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris - 8:00 PM
Perfect Crime - 8:00 PM
Ticketmaster is still selling tickets well past may 21st so if they are closing, it is far from official.
no! I refuse to believe this until an offical annoucement is made.

I called the theatre, my girlfriend had the number for some reason: 212-253-2164
This hurts my soul.
NO! I never got to see it! It's so depressing when a show just goes like this. So there will not be a cast recording?
They have student rush tickets right?? IF so whats the policy and has anyone ever tired and been unseucessful in getting them? The only time I can go is Saturday matinee so I'm going to try to get them.

Aww man! Hopefully they all find jobs quick.
This hurts my soul.
Wow. Really? Wow.
Fine! See if I ever express emotion again, now you've emotionally stunted me.
Your avatar has emotionally stunted me, Cat.
Edit: Well, she has changed her avatar, at the time it was a collage of naked mole rat pictures.

I saw it tonight for the second time, such a cute show!
I think this must be a first. An Off-broadway show closing because it didn't get any Tony nominations? Who'd a thunk it?
Did we ever have that "Talk Back" that was planned way back when?
I hope that this gets a cast recording.
