I would say Evita would be show that would not be vocally demanding for a high school company. They only need 1 strong female singer and two strong males. Magaldi and Mistress dont need to be all that strong. Everyone else can be in the chorus.
I think the hardest part of the show would be for those playing in the pit. Thanks to Hal Prince's version of the show we see it doesnt need a whole lot of props...just a stripped stage.

My high school is doing CATS next year...I can't even imagine how bad it will be. Only like 4 of us have actual dance experience, so I don't know how that's going to work out. And worse, it's open audition, so ANYONE that wants to be in it can. ugh...
Dancin Thru Life - I actually remember seeing "The Producers" on MTI, I'm not sure if it's available though.
