I have conducted 3 shows on Broadway;
the last 3 months of the original Broadway run of SWEENEY TODD
the 1983 MAME revival
the last year of the ANYTHING GOES revival at the Vivian Beaumont

I've been on the sets of Chicago, Gypsy, Laugh Whore and Hollywood Arms... but that doesn't really count.

I *did* sing and dance on the Shubert stage though

I once did a gay pirate epic with music at the old Jane Adams Hull House space in the 3200 block of North Broadway in Chicago.

i've only been called back. and for maureen in rent! they said i was too "athletic looking" which was a nice way of saying "we don't want a size 12 gilr onstage" :) but it was sooo much fun to do it! it was way back in 98; i'm 26.... is that old to be posting on here? :)

Considering this board is made up of high schoolers, sprinkled with college students, and flavored with a dash of "the rest of us" I highly doubt it. Maybe we should allow for touring productions and see who has a claim to fame...??

OK, well that's the impression I get. I guess I stand corrected. And I didn't mean to imply one can't be straight out of high school and on broadway (I actually have a friend who did just that with Millie as you may have read) but anyway... if what I wrote above isn't true then what do you think the BWW consists of percentage wise when it comes to age?

There ARE a lot of young'uns on the boards.... but there are SO many adults as well. Unfortunately a lot of them still act like children.
