She's clearly reaching for her 15 minutes of internet fame, and realizes that only the freak shows get to appear on Conan/Letterman/etc, to "promote" their "talent." She's just this year's version of the "Leave Britney Alone" Boy.

Sadly all we are doing by watching it and sharing it here on message boards and Facebook (and yes, I was guiltily entranced by the sheer train wreck aspect of it last night) is helping her to achieve that goal.

I don't think it's sad, or a "freak show" as clearly... it is a joke. On purpose. And it seems a pretty accurate parody of people who make videos of themselves singing and beg people to tell them what they think (and then delete the negative).

While I don't love censoring adult productions, this production took place at a Christian university. Thus the censoring.

And she's actually a very talented performer with a quirky sense of humor (or so I've been told from a mutual friend), thus the oh so very fake videos.
