Call Ticketmaster (assuming that's where you purchased the tickets from) and nicely explain to them the situation, and they should be able to do something for you and exchange for another performance time/date.

Or speak directly to the box office staff. I have had in the past, late flights, and the staff give me another ticket for another performance. It may not be the "amazing seat", but it should allow you to still see the show

How many times have you seen Wicked? Go see American Psycho instead.

People can see whatever they want. AP is closing anyway.
I'd much rather see Wicked with Rachel Tucker than AP.

If Ticketmaster won't do anything, go to the theatre tomorrow and they should be able to get you in for the matinee or the evening.

Why does it matter? Also why tell people what to see?

If it were telecharge I would say to call telecharge. If ticketmaster is the broker I would go to the box office and ask. Ticketmaster has horrible customer service.

Coming from Argentina, I would bet not many. Besides, being a tourist (and an international one at that), the OP may not be willing to take a risk on a poorly reviewed show. It would make sense that he/she would prefer to see a long-running blockbuster simply because it is a safe choice. When trips to New York are few and far between, the safe choices tend to win, the rest are too expensive a gamble to take.

Forget about why you guys think which one's a better show or a safe choice. OP said Wicked is their favorite musical ever. That's more than enough reason for them to do what they want to do. It's a very thrilling and satisfying show.
Mica11 - I'm sorry about your delay. I had a very similar thing happen to me when I went to see Wicked. I finally ended up making it, but I called the Box Office earlier and explained them the situation and they were very accommodating. They said I should come next day and they'll help me figure my situation out. They'll probably ask you to give up your current seat so they could resale it. Hopefully it works out for you, have a good trip!

Call the number for Ticketmaster that is likely on the Wicked website. That will get you the people who know about Broadway. If you go to ticketmaster.com and find a number, you will be talking to people more used to sports and concerts, and you will likely get nowhere. Their theater support staff is far more accommodating.
