Wow, the lead of the hottest ticket in town takes the subway...guess divas today aren't the same as the divas of old. I doubt you would've caught Patti Lupone on Metro North.
I've seen Destan Owens at the gym (won't tell you which one, though - don't want Rentheads stalking him there). A friend of mine saw Gene Anthony Ray on the Number 1 train years ago limbering up for an audition (much to the dismay of those sitting underneath him). I used to see John Cameron Mitchell everywhere downtown - such a sweet man, even when I mentioned that I had seen him once in the Secret Garden.

Ana Gasteyer was two rows in front of me when I saw Taboo.
I don't think she had a subway with her at the time.

Almost forgot - at the final show of Sweeney Todd, Stephen Sondheim was in attendance. One cute little girl in front of me was crying her eyes out when she saw him. At the end of the show when some castmembers threw roses back to the audience, I caught one but eventually gave it to the poor little thing just to see her smile.

I was going to say-- every other actress that has played Elphaba has had a car provided to take them home from the theater, so I'm suprised Gasteyer apparently doesn't.

ive only seen Sutton on the street on her way to DROWSY. my sister wanted to go over to the DROWSY stage door before the show to see if she could meet Sutton, so she starts like running down the street towards the theatre, im mad at her and yelling after her saying we'd never meet Sutton, and i suddenly turn around, and there's Sutton walking right behind me. :P it was odd, i was speechless and embarassed
