Any idea why IBDB doesn't include credits for regional sit down productions like Hamilton and wicked in chicago or wicked in la? I feel like there would be enough information and interest to warrant a page dedicated to something like that.

Because those are not on Broadway, plain and simple. The site is run/maintained by The Broadway League....do they have anything to do with regional shows? (I really have no idea.)

They have touring credits, or is that considered broadway to the broadway league?

They recently started including tours that are put out by Broadway League producers.

The tour data on there is the most random though.

I didn't realize there was ANY tour info....but still, seems like the League must be involved if its to be included.

But surely if the league is involved with the tours, they would also be involved with replica sit-down productions, wouldn't they?
I think the most likely answer to the OP's question is just that it's a relatively new feature to the site, and it's not really comprehensive yet.
