Posted: 8/2/06 at 12:27pmHi. I remember someone here bought frames from IKEA that fit the playbills perfectly. Does anyone have a pic of those frames, and what was the exact size, and what were they called? Any info, because I might go there today...thanks!

IKEA has on its website measurements for its different products, for instance frames. So if you have a playbill and can measure it - you can then compare it to the available frames on the IKEA homepage. I believe that the sortiment on the internet are somewhat more limited then the sortiment in the warehouse though.

I didn't get to look at all of the frames, but that's Ikea's frame page.

Does IKEA still have the 4/4$ sale?
Does the frame have a glass kind of cover to protect it?

Posted: 8/2/06 at 3:56pmJust my 2 cents on how I framed some of my playbills: I went to the dollar store and bought some frames. Then I placed a black piece of cardboard behind the glass and then the playbill centered on top of the black cardboard. They look AOK for not having a bordered mat. You can also get different color cardboard that would match better to some of the colored playbills. Bottom line it cost only a little over a buck to frame one !!
