I saw this on Playbill this morning. I'm going to Chicago in November and am terribly tempted to go check it out. I was fortunate enough to catch it on Broadway, though, and I can't imagine anything could top that.

What did the City of the Big Shoulders do to deserve this?
Talk about bad karma.
oh how i wish i could see this...
Hey, it is NOT Chicago! It is CICERO! You know, as in:
Pop!
Six!
Squish!
Uh Uh!
Cicero
Lipschitz!
Chicago's got CLASS!
Well, at least the Jedlicka Performing Arts Center figured out a way to get some publicity.

Oh my.
Yeah, it's being done as a non-Equity production at Jedlicka Performing Arts Center in Cicero, a suburb of Chicago. So basically, a glorified community theatre production.
Is this that show with the lemons?
The one and only FrancisGumm
I hope the director in Cicero Lipschitz has the vision to put the flying death on strings back in. That was amazing musical theater. I felt as if I were watching what would be Peter Pans death scene. I also really hope he lets Jenny sing more about her chinese food dinners she eats with her fingers and perhaps have her best friend come out INTO the audience this time to say her Monologue about Nick the boyfriend. I also feel a local Chicago townsgirl should ride her motor scooter in a revolving circle on stage ala les miz while singing "how old am i" for the 10th time.
