Who saw the PBS 3rd installment? They unkindly showed rehearsal footage of Ms. Idina -- who otherwise does have wonderful pitch -- hitting a clinker on "It's MEEEEEEEEE," its wince-making sourness pronounced by the quick segue to the same moment onstage at the Gershwin, when she hit it squarely. Unfortunat, but when you play it back on tape, and hear it, it's startling. I must say, it's not really fair to a performer to use rehearsal flaws thusly.
