I am truly happy for her, she is such a sweet woman, and the fact they waited 13 years is an example for everyone. You gotta wait!

Congratulations to Idina and Taye!
However, does this mean she won't be returning to the stage for a while?? Like Melissa Errico? I mean, I'm happy for her, but selfishly, this just means more time until she comes back to the stage!

aww I didn't mean it in a rude way, it's just I distinctly remember Idina mentioning "thinking about having kids" in concerts as far back as like 3 1/2, 4 years ago (and I'm not even sure that was the first time she mentioned it)! haha. I'm certainly not judging them for having waited until now. Just saying that I think most of us fans have known that they've been thinking about it for quite a while now, and so it's exciting that it's actually happening!

It's funny that this was announced today, because just last Friday, my friend and I went to see Idina in concert in Wilmington, Delaware, and Idina was wearing a loose fitting shirt and I turned to my friend and said, "What if she's pregnant?" And then we both thought about it for a moment and were like, "No, she's not." And now this. That baby is going to be one good-looking kid. Congrats to them both - I'm sure they will make wonderful parents.
