That would make me want to pull out my hair almost as much as the Streissand/Crawford 'Music of the Night'

Could work. I heard the duet that Clay and Heather Hedley did at her concert (THE LION SLEEPS TONIGHT) and thought it sounded amazing.

I heard the Clay/Heather thing too. I'd like to hear them sing The Confrontation from Miss Saigon. I also have a clip of Clay from whern he was 17 singing This is the Moment. Gorgeous!!!!!!!

Clay could never be Angel.
1. He can't dance. I saw him in concert...he tried...didn't work.
2. HES STRAIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Um, it is called acting.
Perhaps you've heard of it.

There are some roles that can be acted. Angel is a role where a little more than acting is needed. Most of the people that I know say that when Clay walks into a room, their hearts melt, they fall in love all over again, and the world is perfect. Just because someone is sweet and genuine and homey doesn't automatically make him gay. Believe it or not, there are some men who are sweet, loving and aren't dating each other.

I'm not saying it can't be done. I'm saying someone like Clay who is very religious wouldn't be able to act it. I do think that to really give a blowout performance as Angel, it would be difficult for a straight person. It's a role that evokes deep emotion and it needs that little extra oomph. That would be really hard for a heterosexual, especially Clay, to give.

Um, the original guy that played Angel was straight.
