Sorry I was jsut reading a post and they mentioned that Idina wouldnt be playing Elphaba and I was wondering when? for how long? adn why? I am sure some one can answer these questions. Also, how do u find out this stuff?

I assume you're talking about her vacation and that is from October 18th-24th, I believe.

Idina ends her Broadway run as Elphaba on January 9, when her contract ends. She may extend, but that seems unlikely. Its rumored that she may open the tour in Toronto, and possibly the show in London.
In the near future, she is on vacation this week, Shoshana Bean is taking over.

Im going on the 30th with my best friend (IM SO FREAKING EXCITED!!!!! THE ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!!!!!) And Im so glad I got tix for this day too because theres a really good chance she'll be in it...I mean its the anniversary and she wont miss it...plus Im glad she has a break before it.
Why is she leaving from the 18th-24th? I heard that it was to film a guest role on Kevin Hill.

I'm sure its so she can, for the first time, have an acutal vacation. Every other day she has had "off" thus far was to either go work on a TV show or movie, or it was one of the 3 or so days she was sick.
