Ugh. He's terrible and only made it so far because of his sympathetic story.
Give it to a real actor/singer.

Posted: 2/8/07 at 2:27pmGosh did you have to say "REJECT"? I mean, Jennifer Hudson is an American Idol 'reject' too, as are all but one of the million-plus people who audtion for the show. He came in what, sixth? Obviously people liked him. Why shouldn't he get a role in a show?

I think Anthony has an awesome voice, although I've never seen him act.

Hmmm-- so how come no one described Jennifer Hudson that way? She's a loser too.
I guess it's a "glass half full" thing-- you want to focus on the 5 people who did better and I am looking at the 999,995 people who did worse.
Contestant covers all bases.

Anthony sounded pretty good at the AI concert, but I don't think he has ever acted before.
Rejected from Idol? That year Carrie was the chosen one and there was no way anyone else was going to win.
Hope he does well.

I'm not a Constantine fan (in fact, he annoys me), but WEDDING SINGER and JACQUES BREL were heading towards closing before Constantine got there.
re: Climb Ev'ry Mountain.... everyone butchered their songs that week, save for Constantine's "My Funny Valentine". Also, THE SOUND OF MUSIC isn't exactly THE FANTASTICKS.

DirtyRottenGuy - I've read your posts. Constantine isn't to blame for the closures of Wedding Singer and Jacques Brel. If you actually think that, you're giving a nobody (Constantine) too much credit.

No, no. Im not blaming him for closing the shows. I just think its humorous that he joins a show and it closes. I just think it is bad luck, nothing more, but still quite funny. Please, dont read too much into my posts.
