As much as I love "fiddler on the Roof" I have seen over 12 productions of it! From Local productions to off-broadway, broadway, dinner theatre, high school productions and yes the movie too! I do not know why that everytime I am within 100 miles of a production I end up going. Now without trying I know the play inside and out! I know when someone misses a line. My sister has said the same thing about "Annie". She said she has had "Enough" of "Annie". I told next time lets switch tickets!
she laughed and said trust me "in local theatre" when those little girls start to sing you want to SCREAM.

I no longer care if the farmer and the cowman are friends. Or if Jud is a porn freak. Or if Laurey gets high off smelling salts she bought from some foreign salesman. Or if Curley can't find a date to the box social.

I was going to say Annie. Sick of it. Funny how you mentioned Fiddler because my school just did that for their Spring Musical. It was actually pretty amazing, which is saying a lot because I'm not fond of my high school's drama productions (actually any general high school productions). I'm also getting tired of Once Upon a Mattress. If I hear: "I'm in love with a girl named Fred!" I will scream.

I think that quite literally every high school in Las Vegas except for mine has done Grease. In the past two years.

Luckily, I haven't seen any. But still... there are other shows out there!

South Pacific, Im not tottally sick of it yet but i played jerome twice and if i hear ditem moi one more time ill scream. I wont go near the show unless im in it as any other role than the annoying kid.

From January - June, there are five companies near me producing it, and the local high school. I think someone at MTI just has a rubber stamp and they approve everything.

If we're talking about horrible quality high school productions, I'd say West Side Story. One of the pit players in a show I was doing told me when her high school did it, the Tony was so consistently terrible that after he got shot, someone in the audience screamed out: "Shoot him again!"

ANYTHING GOES.

I could see a good production of Anything Goes everyday. But a bad production of Anything Goes is actually my least favorite thing ever and I've seen enough to be able to say so.

I would definitely say the Rodgers and Hammerstein songbook. I say let the shows rest for awhile and then bring them back up and we can see why they were good to begin with.

The Sound of Music...every community theatre is doing a production of it right now, and it seems that there's someone I know in all of them.
