What role do she think she should play??
I think she is the absolutely perfect choice to replace Christina in Charity. She has the perky personality for the role. She can obviously sing, and dance the part. She is very trained in Musical Theater. She is doing very good as Maria right now in The Sound Of Music. With her red hair, I think she would slightly resemble Shirley in the movie version.
I really hope the Weisslers consider her to replace Christina, she did such a great job with Roxie in their Chicago. I really think they should give Paige a try as Roxie.
What do you guys think?

I agree. And the good part is - she has the talent for the part.
I'm ususally good with predicting the Weisslers. If the show stays open until Jan, when Christina leaves (which I think it will) I bet they will try to get Paige. Hopefully.

She may be a smidgen too old, but I've been secretly dreaming that Sarah Jessica Parker would play Charity. I think she'd nail the part.
As for Paige, I love her, and she'd be great, but I don't think she could give the Box Office afloat.

Well. Sarah is actually older than Paige. But I can see her as Charity too, but I can see Paige more in the role.
Paige gave Chicago a HUGE boost last summer, I remember it hitting like 99% attendance.

If she played charity i would be there in a heartbeat!!!
Shes got the looks and the talent to play a lot of roles!!! Im so mad i missed her in chicago!

Well I don't really consider it a dancer's role. Yes Charity dances 3 or 4 times in the show. ButI consider the Charity in this revival a role for a fabulous comedic actress, not a dancer.
Paige would definetly be great though, she has it all.

Posted: 6/24/05 at 11:11pmI would love to see her in anything! I love her. When I went to NYC last summer, I wasn't planning on seeing Chicago. When I heard she was in it, I bought my tickets right away. They definetly made a $200 off me that they wouldn't have made before.
