I am seeing If/Then at the matinee on November 30, I was wondering who comes out the stage door after matinees?
Also, if Idina does not come out after matinees does she after night performances? Would be able to return after the 8pm show if I wanted to meet her. Does she do pictures/would she sign my Wicked playbill if I am one of the first there at the door?
When I saw it (an evening show), Idina signed only If/Then Playbills, no pictures. There was a publicist there helping move her along because the crowds were so dense.
I went to the first show and everyone came out. Idina only signed a few though, and then left. She didn't go down the line like everyone else. LaChanze even stopped and chatted with a lot of people. If you want pictures you need to take them while they are signing just to keep things moving. Other than that, everyone was extremely nice, especially Anthony Rapp!
Every night can be different though!
Check your ticket, I believe both matinee and evening performances begin on the half hour.
When I went down, everyone came. But, Idina was the very last person. Did not came out until 11:30 (I think she had company), but she apologized. If you really want her, get a spot across the door. That's how she signed mine.
I don't think Idina comes out after every matinee - I know at the matinee I attended, she did not.
I'd recommend you go see the show, and then go back another night to arrive before the show's over and get the primo spot against the barricade right in front of the door!
disneybroadwayfan22 - was it November 8? If so, sorry!
If she sees a Grimmerie, she runs screaming to her car.
LaChanze did not stage door at the Sunday matinee I attended; I saw her go out the front door of the theater. I can't say who did stage door that day, as I was too short to see over the heads of the crowd.
