I am going to give this to
ATOTC would have lasted much longer
13 would have ran at least a LITTLE longer
I think [tos] would've run longer
LB would've lasted much longer
American Buffalo would've lasted longer
August Osage would be packing them in
Shrek would've packed in more (it's still VERY early)
Hairspray would've been selling high pre-sales for the Holidays
I think Rent, Spamalot and SA were doomed no matter what.

however, hairspray has been dragging on and just making for a while. the show has just lost its "magic"

Posted: 11/24/08 at 10:22pmIt seemed to have lost something after the film musical came out. I know they like to capitalize on the popularity but I think they should have waited to do the movie. Regardless, I will be going one last time to see it. One of my favorites!!

I agree as well except for 13. As a parent, I just wouldn't pay to see a show I have at home. But maybe the 13 year olds like watching themselves. Just not for me.
ATOTC has gone to soon. Loved the love story. James Barbor is simply in a league of this own vocally.
