Clara from LITP
Logainne or Olive from Spelling Bee

Nothing too over the top I think. I probably wouldn't name a boy after a musical character...
I plan on having a whole slew of daughters.
Their names will be Charity, Chastity, Purity, Virtue, and Prudence.
Then we'll go on a tour of cruise ships and save sinners as part of my lounge act.

And a son Christian, right Kitzy
Was there a character named Christian in Anything Goes? Must've missed that one

Didn't know you were talking about Anything Goes... I actually no nothing about that show. Pay no attention to my ignorance when it comes to that. lol
these names then arent really specific to broadway shows, they are just names that happen to be used in some shows (like rose or sarah for instance).
how about reno (from "anything goes") or tulsa (from "gypsy").

I did name one of my children after a character in a show!

Here's the problem with your lists:
I think Johanna is a beautiful name, but do you really want to name your kid after someone who grows up thinking her mother comitted suicide, whose adoptive father wants to marry her and who wants to kill herself?
Maureen is a self absorbed, two timing b i t c h.
Olive is a neglected child.
Sarah tried to bury her child alive.
Lucy and Kate are Prostitutes.
Faith committs suicide and leaves her child motherless.
Roxie and Velma are murderesses.
....Do I need to go on?
I named my car Ruprect. :)
It's not a musical, but my daughter's middle name is Scarlett, after Scarlett O'Hara.
probably Belle, only because I've loved Disney my whole life. Second choices: Mark, Roger, Maureen
3rd choice: Amneris

Please, do not name your future child Amneris. Please.

Maybe Amneris can be friends with the Elphabas....
They could have combined Therapy Sessions.
Oh, wow... I bet a lot of little girls ARE going to be named Elphaba now, aren't they? Frightening.
Just think of all the young teenagers out there named Ariel or Jasmine. And believe me...there are a lot of them.

After seeing Mamma Mia! for the first time, I decided to name my future daughter Sophie.

I've decided that if I have a daughter I'll name it Miriam and have her nickname be Mimi.
For a boy: Mark(Rent)
For a girl: Cosette(Les Mis)

Gavroche from Les Miz...
...for *cough* obvious reasons.
I really loved the name Clara before Piazza or Passion or stuff like that. I especially how symbolic it was to the show as well (the LIGHT in the Piazza...) And a close friend's name is Claire, so I'll probably end up naming a daughter Clara (if anything).
And kind of random, but I LOVE the name Gabriel, for a boy. But I hate the nickname "Gabe"...

I was thinking the same thing. I can just imagine being a teacher with a child named Elphaba in the class.
Next thing we know, that will be the most POPULAR *pun not-intended* name in the coming years.

I like the names Maureen(Rent) and Elphaba(Wicked, of course.) Elphaba is eccentric, but I still think it's ba beautiful name. But I like Mimi too.
Definately Olive. But I decided that before I had heard of Spelling Bee. I also like the names
Lucy (Jekyll and Hyde)
Millie (TMM)
Louisa or Louise or Luisa(The Sound of Music/Gypsy/The Fantasticks-I had already decided this too, though)
Ivy (On the Town)
Penny (Hairspray)
Amber (Hairspray)
I'm definetly naming my first daughter Adalaide...i've had that name picked out since I did Guys and Dolls in 7th grade, and it's always stuck with me.
