Raul Esparza for a nom. and win. Saw him pre-broadway at the Playhouse in the Park. AMAZING! I'll second Heather Laws.
Barbara Walsh from COMPANY for sure!!!!! Incredible performance.
Since I don't think we're restricted to actors... Larry O'Keefe and Nell Benjamin for the score of Legally Blonde.

either Barbara Walsh or Heather Laws for Company. Two incredible performences in two completely different ways.
Another for Erin Davie.
And Anthony Chisolm in Radio Golf.

Xanthe Elbrick - Featured actress in a play
It would be a total shame if Xanthe Elbrick didn't get recognized for her complete tour de force in CORAM BOY. I personally think that she should win, but a nomination would make me happy.
Raul Esparza. It's a foregone conclusion, but nonetheless.

The great Mary Louise Wilson in GREY GARDENS for Best Featured Actress in a Musical.
Barbara Walsh for Company. That performance has stayed with me when others have faded into the "eh, they were okay" category.
Walsh didn't do anything for me. I would give a nomination to Heather Laws, Angel Desai, and Elizabeth Stanley before recognizing Walsh.
I adored Desai's performance - I thought she just embodied Marta to the fullest I've ever seen - and IMO, Heather Laws should get a nomination just for her "Getting Married Today," but I went in not expecting much from Walsh and she totally blew me away.

I thought David Harbour did some of the best work in all of The Coast of Utopia and would love to see it recognized. Alas, the cast is huge and the flashier characters and performances of Crudup and Hawke have received all the buzz.
are we talking about EVER? or just this year?
cause if its ever than definately Sweeney Todd for lighting last year, cause that omission was a disgrace.
But this year, definately Stephanie March in Talk Radio, she suprised me, pleasently.
oh and the set for talk radio also, that **** was HOT

Erin Davie, GG. Definitely. It would be amazing if her work were recognized by the Tony committee.
AND, I can't not say- Julie White, The Little Dog Laughed.
Here's to hoping!
I loved all the COMPANY ladies. I'd happily nominate Laws, Walsh, Desai, and Stanley if it were up to me. Probably in that order, hence desperately wanting Laws to get a nomination, even though most people are certain Walsh will get the nod. Who knows? Maybe they both will? I certainly wouldn't mind.
I also wouldn't mind Jason Danieley getting a nod for CURTAINS. That'd be lovely.
