After seeing Sleep No More in New York City, I started thinking to myself, what musicals would be great if they were designed as an immersive show? although this seems like a stupid thread I would like to know what musicals people would like to see transformed into an immersive experience?
My thoughts on what could work the best would be,
-Spring Awakening
-Miss Saigon

For many years, I envisioned a production of Mack and Mable taking place on a soundstage with the audience on sections of moving bleachers simulating camera movement and focal length, close up, medium close up, long shot, etc.

There was a Cameron Mackintosh-esque European musical a couple of years ago named "14-18", all about the first World War. In an attempt to convey the scale of war, it took place in a giant space the size of two football fields with the cast and sets moving about all over the place.
With its multimillion-euro budget, cast of 140, computer-controlled set and shifting seats, the musical ‘14-18’ aims to take its audience to the heart of the first World War, so many of whose battles were fought in nearby Flanders fields The show takes its audience to the centre of the action on a 2,000-strong chunk of seating that moves backwards and forwards along a 15m track.
It was in Flemish, but they had English-language performances too. Looked pretty interesting.
