Posted: 2/1/05 at 9:44pmOk i want to buy tickets to go see rent on a sunday and on that sunday they have a 7:00pm show but i also want to go to all shook up at 7:30pm that same night. If i get tickets to rent on that matinne for sunday at 2or 3pm will anyone come out? like drew,cary,frenchie,merle? does anyone know if they come out and such for like autographs and pics. cause i really wanna see all shook up but i can jsut if i see the rent matinee i dont know if i will be able to meet any of them after.

Posted: 2/1/05 at 9:57pmMOST OF THE TIME. MOST CAST MEMBERS USUALLY GO GET DINNER AND BRING IT BACK TI THE THEATER. IF IT'S REALLY COLD PROBALLY NOT.

THEY USUALLY DO - IN ALL SHOWS. SOME STARS STAY IN, BUT FOR THE MOST PART THEY GO HOME....OR OUT....

drew kinda hides sometimes..frenchie alwaaaaaays gets out very fast. i don't think she likes to be bothered so much, which is kinda stupid considering that she's "famous" because of being kicked off american idol. granted she has an INCREDIBLE voice, but she should be a little nicer to her fans.
that's just my opinion at least

I saw the matinee on Jan. 16th, and if you get to the show early enough, the actors just walk by. I don't believe there is a stage door and if there is they weren't using it the day that I was there. I arrived at the theatre at about 1:10 and got pictures with Drew Lachey and met Jeremy Kushnier and Frenchie.
Does anyone know, does RENT have a stage door?

Posted: 2/2/05 at 6:20pmthere is not a stage door. I was waiting for the lotto on a sunday and the show just ended. SOme of the actors came out. If you don't know what they look like, you will miss them. Hope you get to meet them though!

I was there (at RENT) jan 16 and I have never seen such a thing. There was a huge crowd mostly teenybooper types. Some of the cast tried to dodge the crowd. Drew just got swamped. Krystal signed autographs. Frenchie tried to escape and I knew she had a bit of a reputation as being non-fan-friendly so when I saw her pushing through the crowd I yelled out "We love you Frenchie" She turned and said thanks which I counted as a small victory. Point being I got nervous at the pushing and crying and screaming so imagine how the cast feels when the crowd is heading towards them. Jeremy Kushnier was the best at crowd handling. He didnt freak out, took the time to make sure everyone got their pictures, even helping a few people fix the flash, it was actually quite incredible to watch.
The RENT cast comes out the front door nearest Hotel 41.
And for the most part they come out between shows.

Posted: 2/2/05 at 6:25pmEvery time I hear that about Jeremy, I regret not braving the cold and getting a chance to talk to him. I love the ones that can put the screaming fans in their place; very commanding.
