Front Mezz Row A Center or Orch L seats 10-12 (first row in front of the walkway so no seats in front/unobstructed view)?
I know Front Mezz Row A is technically a great seat, but I feel the mezz is a bit high at this theatre and still a bit "far" from the stage.
Any input would be great. Thanks.
I sat in the front row mezz this summer, and it was great!
I hate sitting on the sides. I'd go with row A in the Mezz, too.
I have sat in both areas for this show. Both are fine. This is one show I've preferred Orchestra seating though, and that walkway doesn't feel that far from the stage. Just not sure how left side 10-12 are.
Though I haven't sat there for ITH, front row center mezz is almost always one of the best seats in the house. I would take that over side orchestra, every time, though the seats you describe are probably not bad).
Front row center mezz! I've sat there (and just about everywhere else in that theatre), and that is probably my favorite place to sit. IT gives you the best view of the stage, and it's a small theatre so you don't feel far away.

dshnookie, I laughed when I saw your seat choices because I remembered reading this review on NYtix.com:
Best Seats In The House:
The Richard Rodgers Theatre has a seating capacity of 1,400. The best seats are located in row L, seats 9 on the left and 10 on the right. The stadium-style seating allows good views from most of the orchestra.

I haven't been in a year and a half and cannot remember what the First Row Left or Right Orchestra (aisle) was like. I don't recall the stage being that high, but...
Was planning a Christmas trip and with Lin's return much of orchestra is Premium, however the first row left/right are not.
Thanks!
