Ok so I just heard that Kyle Beltran has officially left the tour due to some health problems. So when Lin is not performing in Arizona and also in LA who will play Usnavi?

Also does any one think Kyle should replace Corbin once he leaves?

But on Playbill.com it says he is only doing the matinee today and tomorrow not all the shows.

If you're talking about who's going to be Usnavi after Lin's limited run, Joseph Morales has been rumored to take over the role.

Anyone know who is replacing Shaun Taylor as Sonny when he leaves for broadway?

The new Sonny is going to be a guy from my school named Chris Chatman. He graduated from Cal State Fullerton's Musical Theatre BFA program last year and been on tour with "Disney Live! Rockin' Road Show" since then.

He'll also be u/s for Usnavi.

I don't know where the show went after Denver but I heard Beltran missed the final performance here in Denver. Did he leave at that point?

I believe he left after San Francisco. He was a really great Usnavi!

He did peformed in S.F. but missed the last week of performances due to allergies and health problems. He was supposed to leave the show on Tuesday during the Arizona run, however because due to his health problems he didn't even performed in Arizona and left earlier. The days Lin won't be performing, which I believe are Sundays, the understudies will take over: Joseph Morales, Shaun Taylor-Corbett or Kevin Santos. Joseph Morales is taking over the role of Usnavi beginning in San Diego, he's really great.
Also, Lexi Lawson begins performances as Vanessa on 7/6 in L.A.

Anyone have the date for Shaun Taylor-Corbett's departure? I'm hoping I'll see him one more time.

Saw the show last week in Arizona. We had a 5x7 insert of who was performing that night. Joseph Morales was Usnavi. I thought he was great, but don't have anything to compare him with. Lin Manuel made an appearance in the aisles during intermission signing autographs.

Rayanne Gonzales was Nina the night I saw it. She has red, short, curly hair (think "Annie"), so that kind of turned me off initially (I was expecting long dark hair), but she was really good.

Wish I had listened to the cast recording more. Had a hard time understanding a lot of the words, but what a fun, high energy show.

I actually saw both shows on Saturday in AZ...Lin-Manuel was absolutely amazing and probably the nicest guy i've ever met...the evening show that night, Joseph Morales played Usnavi...and didn't do much for me in comparision to Lin-Manuel...Either way, still an amazing show, something i'd see over and over again, given the chance!

Yea I was wondering about that. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't put Rayanne, who is an u/s for Abuela, Daniela, and Camilla, in the role of Nina!
