That has to be a joke. So, a little kid who isn't even dating anyone is going to get a romantic dinner for two and two tickets to the show over people who now have no way of giving their loved one a gift? I have to say I'm a little more than upset. I know I shouldn't have placed all my eggs in one basket, but I now have no gift for my boyfriend for Valentine's Day.

Congrats, Shane. Don't mean to rain on the parade of a child, but... what are ya gonna do? He rained on mine first.

HE DIDN'T EVEN RAP ABOUT SOMEONE HE LOVED! That's what pisses me off the most. He needs a date with his mom because she has a car. I need a date with my boyfriend because I have no money to get him anything and we've been together for almost two years! But because he's small and "cute" (which is arguable), he wins?

were there rules about this? I didn't see them if there were... settle down! its just a contest, and there would only be one winner... period, and just because you don't have money doesn't mean you don't love your bf, and I'm sure he knows that, so just let it go

I didn't enter the contest, didn't watch any of the videos, and have no clue what the 'official rules' disclaimers say, but actually that is what the banner ad promoting this was saying- freestyle about the one you love-

2. Upload your video to YouTube

WINNING:
The videos will be judged by Freestyle Love Supreme and the best overall freestyle will win a special Valentine’s Day date package: Dinner for 2 at Tony's DiNapoli and a pair of tickets to IN THE HEIGHTS!

I'm not saying my Valentine's Day is ruined. It just sucks that I now have nothing to give him, nowhere to go, and really nothing to do. It'll still be great because I'll be with him (that's a given), but it's kind of nice to actually have something to do or something to give the person you're with. It was a Valentine's Day contest after all.
