In What Order Should I See The Following??

Spring Break is coming up in March and I was thinking of heading down to NYC to see a few shows and taking advantage of the discount codes that are available for some of these. I wanted to know in what order would you guys recommend I see the following shows. I'm more or less equally interested in all of them. My favorite shows, or all the shows I've ever seen, are in my profile - but of all of them I think I enjoyed Wicked and Xanadu the most if that helps. So in what order would you see the following?

-A Chorus Line
-Curtains
-Hairspray
-Jersey Boys
-Mary Poppins
-Spring Awakening

-In The Heights (late admission)

Any help on the plays I listed a few posts down would be great too.

A Chorus Line
Spring Awakening
Curtains
Hairspray
Mary Poppins
Jersey Boys

would be my personal list. From what I could tell from your profile, we seem to have similar tastes, though.

Why not see a play or two?

Do not miss AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY. I know you like musicals, but this play will give you the same emotional orgasm that any musical will ever do for you...

Just my opinion. The play sings.

We have an unique season of GREAT plays happening. Don't get caught in the tourist trap of musicals. Or just musicals. See a play.

A good play will let you score your own music.

Thanks everyone for the help. I agree, I am VERY interested in seeing August. Farnsworth and Homecoming also interest me, but (and though I shouldnt base my opinion of a show on solely that) Broadway's word of mouth didnt exactly enjoy Homecoming, but they said great things about August and Farnsworth. Any thoughts on Sefarer?

I really just wanted to get the musicals ordered, because I'm certainly not catching them all so just for future reference - perhaps for a summer trip. I am also tempted to see Xanadu again but this time from the on-stage seats.

And I forgot to include IN THE HEIGHTS in my list. Should I shoot that to the top of my list? I've been reading a lot of great buzz on here about it.

I'm not sure if you intend on seeing all the shows you listed & I wouldn't be able to put them all in an order anyway, but I would recommend A CHORUS LINE to be the first one you see.

Jersey Boys - this is an absolute must see make sure it happens, and it will put you in good spirits if you see it first
Spring Awakening
Hairspray - maybe see this before spring, i feel like this is one of those show you just have to see. Musics great, great message, a little corny but a whole lot of fun

I would go for that order, based on what I know/remember of the shows and casts. Definitely see August: Osage County too, it's amazing.

I loved the Seafarer. I thought that it was very well written and performed. Jim Norton is simply wonderful as Richard! I didn't know anything about the play before I saw it, but it became one of my favorites of the season.

I'm the opposite. I couldn't stand The Seafarer and absolutely adore The Homecoming. It's probably my favorite play out there right now.
