re: In any other season...#1
Posted: 7/6/05 at 10:28amI agree with your Best Actress, Best Revival, and Best Score. I'm too lazy to think about the rest, right now.
re: In any other season...#2
Posted: 7/6/05 at 11:21amI definately agree with you. Though I feel quite torn. If Victoria Clark hadn't won, I wouldn't know to pick Sutton Foster (Little Woman, Jo March) or Christina Applegate (Sweet Charity, Charity Hope Valentine.) I saw both of these performances and both were beyond AMAZING!

I think I agree with most of your pics...I could see Sutton in there instead of Christina, but then again the show closed, not helping her case...
My only other argument is best featured actor-Matt Morrison.
re: In any other season...#5
Posted: 7/6/05 at 11:38amI agree with everything, except for best musical. I think it would have been DRS. I also agree with what WickedGeek28 said.

best featured actress in a musical- Kelli O'hara!!!
re: In any other season...#7

APPLEGATE - No way In HELL would that have happened...Scott would have taken it "any other year"
And Im sorry, but Jerry Mitchell not winning for his brilliant work in LA CAGE AUX FOLLES is laughable any way you look at it.

sutton would have won if clark had not been there. drs probably would win best musical if spam wasn't on the boards killing musical theatre.
and kelli o'hara and matthew morrison would win.. i mean, they should have this year. both were robbed of awards.
re: In any other season...#9
Posted: 7/6/05 at 12:21pmIf Applegate won a Tony I'd poke my eyes out.
re: In any other season...#10
Posted: 7/6/05 at 12:23pmi agree with Fosse- If Spamalot had been out of the question, then I think DRS would have taken it... and Kelli for supporting, and i'm torn about best actress... maybe I just really think Sherie deserves a Tony (not necessarily for DRS, but in general) so i'm biased...
re: In any other season...#11
Posted: 7/6/05 at 12:25pmwell sherie got robbed of a nomination for aida. but she shouldn't have won for drs. i think her next move is going to be big.

I agree with Pillowman.
Bee would not have won.
re: In any other season...#13
Posted: 7/6/05 at 12:32pmap, I agree with you. She was amazing in Aida, but DRS was not enough to get it... anyone know what she'll do next? I hope it's something massive...
re: In any other season...#14
Posted: 7/6/05 at 12:34pmwell she's going to be at the imperial for a while. but i have a feeling her next project will be something big where she gets a star turn and she gets rightfully rewarded...
