That's the thing nobody seems to have said... Has anyone else seen anything else by this Maria Torres?

Googling around I found that it's produced by "Media At Large."

Sounds like someone has deep pockets and no know-how.

"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” ~ Muhammad Ali

The production certainly DOES NOT look deep pockets.

NWS seems like a pretty "fancy" venue, no?

Like I said, that's the really bewildering thing. This would not fly as community theatre in many places.

I'd guess *someone* involved hs passion for this play--and as someone who thinks it has a lot of great stuff in that, and that Williams' lesser known works deserve more re-appraisal I'm all for that. But the very approach mentioned--that a lot of multimedia (and interpretative dance??) is part of the concept, which I think would really overwhelm the play. It just sounds like a mess on every level. I know it was a very short run, but even in the smallest New World Stage, surely they had to put up *some* money which it sounds like they'll lose.
