Quite misleading considering at 50 dollars--the reserve price hasn't been met. You claim you will save a lot by buying this ticket... what is the reserve price?

It got you to click on the link though! ; )
I don't think you're supposed to say the reserve price...I'm not very ebay savvy. But the reserve price is a good $30 less than I paid on ticketmaster (w/fees).
Well, the discount code price for IN THE HEIGHTS is $73.50.
So unless your reserve price is less than that, this is no deal.

For 8th row center? Are seats like that still available?
This time of year? Umm...yeah.
Agreed-- pretty misleading; your header should say "bidding starts at $50" or something. You may end up stuck with the ticket.

I hate reserves. I recently had a guy set a really huge reserve and start bidding at $0.99. I don't even understand the point of reserves. Just start bidding at what you want to make.

The reserve option seems like a very psychological thing. If people really want something that has a reserve on eBay, they will first put in what they want to pay. If this doesn't reach the reserve, many times they will keep putting bids of smaller increments to reach the reserve. After many times of going "Well, what difference does one dollar more make" the bidder may reach the reserve price.
That being said, this thread is very misleading. I sure hope the reserve price isn't above that discount price.

Sorry everybody, just trying to make some of my money back. Changed the thread title.

The only reason there is a reserve is to bring attention to the auction. Many people will overlook that or have no clue what it means and will just pay attention to the fact that bidding starts at some low price.
I read an article somewhere that advised people to not waste their time on reserve items and to just bid on something that does not have one. And yes, unless the ticket is less than the discount price, no deal. Sorry.

I didn't say it was lower than the discount price, I actually didn't even realize there was a discount code. But it is definitely lower than what you would pay at the box office (yes, even the reserve price), and not even that much more than the discount price. No lies here! I should have known better than to post this on BWW lol.
