I loved the broadcast . Do I need to see it live at the Ahmanson? Or have I seen it? Trying to decide.

I just saw it again at the Huntington here in Boston with about 85% of the bway cast. Still found it incredibly moving, even after having seen it on bway as well as the recording.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

For me, there's no comparison to seeing a show live. I don't consider myself as even having seen it by just watching it on TV. Your mileage may vary.

I saw it on Broadway (had its issue but was overall creative and executed perfectly) and thought PBS didnt capture it as much as presented it, if that makes sense. The rain scene, particularly, was a real jolt to see live. Not sure what the economic aspects of this decision are, but I would absolutely see it (again).

I just saw it at the Ahmanson - entered the lottery, won first try, and got sixth row seats, which are easily the best seats I've gotten through one of their lotteries. So I'd recommend trying that route if money's an issue.

See it live. There are many economic options for tickets in the LA run.
