Hey everyone! I would like to know what you think of this show. This past week, I saw a wonderful production of this show at the Fulton Theatre in Lancaster, PA. It makes me wonder if maybe we could have a revival on Broadway during the holidays in the future. Anyway, I hope you all have a wonderful and safe Christmas! heart

The idea is to work and to experiment. Some things will be creatively successful, some things will succeed at the box office, and some things will only - which is the biggest only - teach you things that see the future. And they're probably as valuable as any of your successes. -Harold Prince

I saw the tour back in 2011. Wonderful music (obviously), but the story and premise are unbelievably stupid. That aside, though, the show definitely put me in the holiday spirit, and I left with a smile on my face. It's harmless fun. I enjoyed it much more than Roundabout's HOLIDAY INN from a few years back which I found to be stale, trite, and boring beyond belief.

I love the stage version more than the movie. I saw a production in Long Beach, CA five years ago. No Christmas should be complete without Irving Berlin’s music.

The premise is outdated to the point of being almost offensive: retired generals aren’t getting kicked around today, they’re going into lobbying and politics.

Darquegk must be fun at parties.

I saw this on a last minute whim when it played the Pantages in Hollywood a few years back.  I had a great time.

Outdated?  Yes.  But it is great for putting you in that aforementioned holiday spirit.

Good thing it's not set today.
