Hey everyone! I would like to know what you think of this show. This past week, I saw a wonderful production of this show at the Fulton Theatre in Lancaster, PA. It makes me wonder if maybe we could have a revival on Broadway during the holidays in the future. Anyway, I hope you all have a wonderful and safe Christmas! ![]()

I saw the tour back in 2011. Wonderful music (obviously), but the story and premise are unbelievably stupid. That aside, though, the show definitely put me in the holiday spirit, and I left with a smile on my face. It's harmless fun. I enjoyed it much more than Roundabout's HOLIDAY INN from a few years back which I found to be stale, trite, and boring beyond belief.

I love the stage version more than the movie. I saw a production in Long Beach, CA five years ago. No Christmas should be complete without Irving Berlin’s music.

The premise is outdated to the point of being almost offensive: retired generals aren’t getting kicked around today, they’re going into lobbying and politics.

I saw this on a last minute whim when it played the Pantages in Hollywood a few years back. I had a great time.
Outdated? Yes. But it is great for putting you in that aforementioned holiday spirit.

Good thing it's not set today.
