again, this is all very beneath you. i am calm, and i commented on your obnoxious gossippy and misleading IS BILLY PORTER OK title long before Sutton Ross said a word.

you phrased something poorly, and instead of saying "oh i didnt mean to imply hes not ok, let me fix that" you doubled down and turned this, somehow, into something having to do with you personally. grow up and move on.

But he may NOT be ok - he is missing loads of shows and appears to have vocal trouble. And as I said you can search google a little and conclude for yourself or not if you think he is "ok" or not by any contextual meaning of the phrase (though this was not what I was trying to imply). So my point was after your first post I reflected on the two points above and thought that, you know what, if we are strictly talking about the truth I don't think it's unfair to add it to the title as if it is unfounded or completely untruthful or starting any kind of new toxic gossip that hasn't been talked about before. Hence the double down.

HOWEVER, as you can see from my actual post and most of the discussion that wasn't the actual purpose of why I put it in the title, and given it appears to be trigging I concede that I should take it out of the title. But I disagree with the fundamental premise that you're implying which is that the idea of asking "Is Billy Porter Ok" is completely unfounded, off-limits or likely untruthful. He isn't able to show up for work....therefore it's not at all "misleading" as you claim in my opinion. At worst it's distasteful. At best it's a legitimate question to ask. I removed it because it's killing the topic and to be respectful anyway because I am a fan of Billy's not because the question itself is unfounded and I believe he is "definitely ok" as you claimed.

Also, I don't accept that there is any kind of double standards with people who miss loads of shows. People ARE asking a lot of questions about the two leads of Death Becomes Her, for example. This is just what happens all the time and has been happening since the internet was born. Bernadette's PR was TERRIBLE during Gypsy previews and was constantly under scrutiny if she was up for the job, too. In fact her voice been under scrutiny for decades with people constantly asking if it's ok (often people concluding it's not). So I don't know why you are getting so triggered.

Were you around when people were asking about Alice Ripley? When stars have vocal problems on Broadway and start to have absences for better or worse it becomes a saga. If Billy was on Broadway in Cabaret right now it would be discussed all the time (or it will when he gets here).

Oh yes, well you definitely were around for Lindsey in Merrily. Again loads of questions about her absences until it was finally public that she was pregnant and everyone understood (this is not to say anyone is even entitled to know what stars might be facing behind the scenes, it's just that it's a natural phenomena for people to ask)

"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022) "Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009) "Sondheim's own favorite star performances? [Bernadette] Peters in ''Sunday in the Park,'' Lansbury in ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''obviously, Ethel was thrilling in 'Gypsy.'' Nytimes, 2000
