DOG DAY AFTERNOON Reviews Apr 20 2026, 10:39:03 AM
I hate the reception this is getting, I was planning on sneaking off to the city with the girl I like this summer to see some shows and wanted to see this. The announcement made me watch the film for the first time and it was instantly in my top four, but now I don't think I want to see this. I believe in 'screw opinions, form your own' but good lord this is. just bad.

Stereophonic - Radio Edit Apr 16 2026, 11:29:44 AM
Because it was too long. A two act play that starts at 7:00 and ends at 10:30 is utterly insane. It would be silent for 10 minutes, then a song, an argument, rinse and repeat. The show needed to be cut down from the get go.

Yeah, I do wish we got Adrienne somewhere, I liked what I saw of her performance. Though instead of complaining we can do better with our time, like watching the Lazarus proshot again. That's the best way anyone can spend their time.

Joy Woods as Sally Bowles Apr 10 2026, 11:29:34 AM
I miss the discourse we had over that almost 30 million dollar mess. I only experienced it once, but good god walking through that alley way and that hallway into the theatre is one of the best feelings of my life. If travel wasn't so expensive I would most definitely go to see this cast. Alas, my money needs to stay in my college fund.

Popcorn at Dog Day Afternoon - New Normal? Apr 8 2026, 09:42:31 AM
Jordan Catalano said: "Yup. That's ATG. Popcorn is "their thing" and it pisses me off more than any single thing ever could. I'd rather everyone be on their phone with full brightness the entire time than have to watch a play and have people crunching non stop and rustling the bottom of their popcorn buckets.
F*ck ATG for making this normal."
At least they're not baking full on flatbread pizzas or frying Mac and cheese balls and deliv

Popcorn at Dog Day Afternoon - New Normal? Apr 8 2026, 09:30:44 AM
Three of the touring venues I frequent have done popcorn for years. The BJCC in Birmingham, the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, and The Fox in Atlanta. Most of the time It doesn't bother me, but during some shows it has pissed me off to the point that I wanted to slam my head in the seat in front of me. It's also a weird prospect for live theatre which I always associate with cheezits and M&M's, but I like the smell of the butter so I won't complain.
Also good for t

I heard the 'Lamour' sign is just a very large vinyl decal. That'll probably be gone come August 1st, unless they extend.

The feeling of arrogance and misery in this board is nothing more than intriguing to read. You guys make boring days much better with whatever decides to come out of your keyboard or speech to text.
Please, never change.
Also,
YEAAAAAAAA OCTET!!! THIS'LL MAKE A DAVEMALLION DOLLARS AT THE BOX OFFICE!!! YEAAAAA!!! MUSICAL THEATRE FOR THE WIN!!!
okay, I've been obnoxious enough today, time to go do something productive with my life.
