Alot of people loved it, alot of peope hated it. The only way you find out for yourself is to go see it.

Posted: 5/6/06 at 10:45amPeople liked it, yes, but I don't understand how you could look at the show knowing anything about theatre and call it "good theatre." There were so, so many things wrong with it. No, I didn't *like* it, but it's just not good. And I like plenty of things while still recognizing that they're not good.

Posted: 5/6/06 at 11:06amI saw it on Broadway several times and really liked it!!!! When I go to see a show I just want to have a good time. And that's what I did with Brooklyn. The show is different.. a show within a show basically. The music was fun and the actors were having so much fun on stage and thats what made it so great for me. I had a good time anyway.

Posted: 5/6/06 at 11:42amIt's a love or hate it kind of show. I personally don't think the show is great but I like many of the songs. Personally I'd say buy the cd and save the trouble of buying a ticket to see the show.
