If people read this and start buying tickets it wont close.
Buy tickets now. I am done venting.
Goodnight,

I have inside sources (which I consider 100 percent reliable) and will state clearly (again) there are NO plans to close the show at all.
Craig, finally the voice of a sensible adult. The studio would probably subsidize the run if necessary to get it to last through the opening.
Just checked at Ticketmaster and tickets are now available through summer into December.
I highly doubt it. This needs to stay open and it will
I have heard they are happy with the business they're doing now and are hoping the movie release will boost ticket sales over the summer (expect them to have some more C-list stunt casting in place by then as well.)
If sales don't increase after that (since they're using the impending release as a sort of light at the end of the tunnel for now,) Andrew Lloyd Webber wants the theater for the "Evita" transfer and will look to go after it in the fall if the show is in any danger of closing at all.
Hairspray needs to stay open. I doubt the Evita Revival will even transfer but i hope it does
