At the Tonys he said he was trying to work it out so that he could. Any news on this?

I think they're still trying to work it out. My guess is that we won't hear until the middle of the month or so.

I hope he can get out of filming Glee for a while. I wonder when filming for season two starts because, until recently at least, the cast was traveling all over the place. Has anyone heard when filming begins?

Filming for season 2 probably won't start for a little bit at least, because they intended to have the people who auditioned for myspace's whole process go down before the second season. That could have changed, though.

Yeah, they canceled the reality casting series.
In a recent interview (can't find it...it was on BWW at one point), Ryan Murphy said that the MySpace auditioners would "still be considered" for a "few" people to appear in "at least one episode" in season two. So basically...they went in a new direction. Did not mean to make that a joke.

There's another channel that's going to be airing the reality casting series for season THREE next summer, and in return they get syndication rights. I forget which channel.

Morrison's a camera whore so I assume he'll be back. But agreed on the current Cable... I don't know what Bart Sher was smoking when he gave him the part.

Whenever I want to realize how good Morrison can sing without autotune I turn to the revival cast recording of South Pacific. It just does a good job of reminding me how good a tenor he is and how badly the whole singing on Glee is. It's as if the show forgets that they actually cast people who do have experience in musical theatre and who can actually sing.

Lighten up Q. And yes like munkustrap178 said its not necessarily a bad thing. I'm sorry if I offended Matthew Morrison... I'm sure his feelings are greatly hurt that I called him a camera whore.

If being an actor means being drawn to the spotlight or the camera, then I believe your rather crass comment could be applied to just about everyone on stage or screen.

But I've never known the term 'whore' to be a positive way of describing anyone - even in jest - so how could your comment be anything other than offensive?

Or lazy.

Surely there are more interesting ways of describing someone who is drawn to spotlights, cameras and headlines.

And surely Matthew Morrison's talent deserves better.

But that's just my opinion.
And don't tell me to lighten up.

...back to the primary topic: I truly do hope that he is able to return for the PBS performance.

It would be wonderful to capture the original primary cast on film for this. They brought alot of magic to this beautiful show.
