I would like to hear word of mouth of that musical Matthew Broderick and Kelli O Hara did six years ago called Nice Work If You Can Get It. I may see a regional production in April

I’m admittedly prejudiced because I was a coproducer on the original Broadway run (which WAS nominated for Best Musical) and I released the wonderful OBVR on my label Shout! Broadway.

I’ve also enjoyed two touring and regional productions of the show. It’s a grand, fun evening indeed

The mash-up of Gershwin music put together by Bill Elliott and David Chase is spectacular indeed. Buy or download the album. Listen to Judy Kaye and Michael McGrath sing the show-stopping “Like Strauss/Sweet & Lowdown” and you’ll hear why they both won Tony’s that year.

Great to hear I was asking because Musical Theatre West in Long Beach is performing Guys and Dolls tonight. Nice Work is their next show. It does look good and I loved the original creative teams work on Grease.

it was fun fast paced and very entertaining
old style musical comedy with fantastic dance numbers and top gershwin tunes well arranged.
made me want to “marry a cheap chorus girl”
id go see it again in a minute.

BwayLB, enjoy "Guys and Dolls."  Let us know how it is.  MTW is such a wonderful place to work.  I've a number of shows there over the years.  Really looking forward to seeing "Nice Work" there.  Enjoy!

I did enjoy Guys and Dolls. Not a favorite but the music is fun. I've seen MTW's productions of Hairspray 42nd Street, Oklahoma!, A Chorus Line The Music Man starring Davis Gaines, Memphis and White Christmas. Kudos to Miss Adelaide, Sarah Brown and Nicely Johnson. Last night was very special to me for a reason. My love of theatre slowly came to be when at age 11, I saw a middle school Guys and Dolls. On the same day at my school, MTW came over for a musical introduction assembly. I turned 25 last week. MTW announced their next season before the show started which will include Star, Elf Catch Me If You Can, Oliver and the Little Mermaid
