There are so many conflicting reports.

Now all those actors will be out of work.
Sad. Terribly sad.
Yes, four MORE actors out of work after the Broadway massacre that was January. Not to mention the countless hours lost creating, directing, rehearsing, and making this musical. So that number can't really be quantified.

This is very upsetting.
How many tickets did YOU purchase, Dolly?
Hours creating and rehearsing are never lost. It's all part of the process.
they closed tonight during intermission when they realized they were just singing to the ushers
WAY uncalled for, nexttoelectric. Seriously.
It's a damn shame a show like this can't last.
Apparently, it's just 'too big a chance' to put-out for a show with passion, with heart, with love, with warmth. It's not about death, it's about embracing who and what you have around you, making due, sharing as many laughs, as many smiles, and as much GOODNESS as you possibly can with the time you're given on this realm. For yourself (and) others. I hope this one finds life beyond tomorrow's matinee. It deserves it.

And even they were sleeping.
Personally, I chuckled a little at what nexttoelectric said.
It's a joke.. take a chill pill!

Not only was it not funny, the show doesn't even have an intermission.

Glad to hear that, because it sure wasn't funny for any other reason.

Hi, this thread is a joke, welcome to BWW even though you've been here for half a century and still haven't figured out how it works.

Wow...seriously?? No one was there? Is the show really that bad? I kind of wanted to see this show....

Heo, I was there tonight and the orchestra was completely full save a few seats towards the back. I also enjoyed the show quite a lot. If you're able to go tomorrow, which sadly is your last chance, I would. I'm glad I spontaneously got a student rush ticket tonight, I had a great time.

Haha I'm in Iowa, so I don't think tomorrow will work out. But I'm glad it wasn't empty, that's just depressing.

Are you referring to The Story of My Life, In My Life, or Steele Magnolias?
I feel bad for everyone involved but the show sucked... it would be different if it was actually good!
I feel the same way about NEXT TO NORMAL!!!! So sad. So sad.
whatever.. we all have our own opinions!
