I loved EVERY SINGLE SECOND of it!

I saw GG on B-way 6 times and am very familiar with the show. I was in D.C. to see N2N and decided to head over to The Studio Theatre to see GG and I absolutley hated Barbra Walsh. She doesn't have the vocals for Big/Little Edie. I thought the entire show at The Studio Theatre was poorly done.

People age. That crazy belt can't last forever. But she still sounds the same.. just toned down a little. Still love it

The cuts in this are beautiful and the entire album is so fluid. Alice is so rested and relaxed and pure. Such a perfect recording.

Well they're whoring the show out with commercials. 4 Commercials in under 2 hours on two different networks. Woot!

I knew I wasn't crazy. It was an intentional lyric change... not a "Flub".

How would that be possible? It would have been bobby who made the mistake if thats the case. Whatever.. could have been a flub! They did have some mic timing issues throughout the night as well.

There were MINOR dialogue/lyric changes between the first and second preview. I saw both 1st and 2nd preview and on saturday night they edited the dialogue right after "maybe" and diana goes on about how he was only *8* months old. And during "he's not here" when dan sings ... its now "he's been dead ALL THESE YEARS" not "16 years".

I'm so thrilled this show is getting the positive feedback it deserves. Alice Ripley for President!

Don't sit in front row all the way to the right. The sight lines were pretty bad but got better as the show progressed. I really liked the show and can only hope it will improve in the coming weeks. Now, I love me some Joanna Gleason but her song was worthless. I feel like they ran out of ideas.. It should have been something a little more complex. I mean I guess the whole thing could work but the song needs to be scrapped and re-written. Jenny Powers... WOW.. did she tear it up. One of the b...
